HOW TO TURN YOUR PHOTOS TO VIDEOS ON INSTAGRAM THE QUICK WAY
We all know how video content is king today. More and more bloggers and digital creatives make more videos now instead of adding photos to their respective platforms. Youtube has become huge; even Instagram Stories and IGTV have gained traction for the last few years.
To stay relevant, consistent in being on your followers feed and not be forgotten, you most certainly don’t want to miss out on creating videos especially if you’re building followers and a community on Instagram.
If you don’t know yet, you can turn your photos to videos on Instagram aside from just making a regular slideshow. You can either use this for IG stories or post to your feed. If you are choosing to post it to your feed, take note the quality of the video might not be high quality but it’s still tolerable.
There are several easy ways you can do to turn your photos to videos using apps
Using the Instagram stories itself
Moment App – GIF maker
Adobe Spark Post
Using Instagram Stories
There are so many ways you can do with Instagram Stories, especially using their stickers option.
First, switch to Instagram Stories mode.
Swipe up and import the photo you want to turn into a video. Select the photo.
Click the Sticker option and click GIF, you may add whatever you like, but if you want to keep it minimal, you may search sparkle. There will be a lot of option to choose from, so choose what you think can still fit your brand and aesthetic.
Once done, save the video and go back to your home page. Click the add media and post the photo turned to video to your feed or your story.
Note: The quality of the video might be a bit low.
Using Momento App
It is easy to use this app when you only use a mobile phone to create your content.
Best to use this if you have taken lots of photos in different angles or frames.
Once downloaded, open the app, and all the photos in different angles and videos will be automatically there, and choose which one you will post.
There are a lot of edit options you can do, add frame, filters, and even set the speed of the GIF.
You can either Share or Save the GIF for scheduling later.
Tip: To be still consistent with your brand’s aesthetic, you can edit your photos first before making a GIF.
It’s a very straightforward app wherein when you open it, you pick a template (they offer free and paid templates), import your photos or videos the either you save it to your camera roll for later or post straight to Instagram stories.
If you want to post it to your feed, you need to adjust the video just so it fits the square. It can be a bit tricky to choose a template so make sure to choose the one that will work when you post it to your feed
This is a great app to make a stop-motion video but there’s a catch, you can only export the imported photos and video if you have a PRO account. So if you want to only use it for free, you can just take photos by using the camera inside the app.
The app also offers Mini Video clips but for PRO account members only.
Adobe Spark Post
This is one of the first apps I have used last year and what I love about this app is that you have templates to choose from or you can build one from scratch. You can create graphics with animation (usually text animation) for your feed or Instagram Stories.
Also, you can create graphics for Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube Thumbnail, Twitter, and more!
There you have it, folks! I hope you learned something today on how to turn your photos to videos on Instagram. Let me know if you have used any of these apps and which one is your favorite on the comments below.
