We left the hotel at around 9:00 am and we had brunch at SINGLE FIN. I read somewhere you can watch the sunset here as an alternative to Uluwatu temple.
We did not want to splurge for another expensive alcoholic drink and we’re getting addicted to Bintang and since ordering a beer in a restaurant like this, expect it’s overpriced.
We found the nearest convenience store and bought some beer. It’s just across the parking lot of where Edy was parked. We drank the beer inside the car on our way to our next destination.
Expenses: 60,000-80,000 IDR
Being beach bums ourselves, a trip to the beach is always a must for some tan and sand. Next stop, PADANG-PADANG beach.
Best way to hang out here is to rent an umbrella while sipping your beer and listening to some beach music.
Making the most of our quick beach getaway
Either you wear a one piece OR bikini and denim shorts so you can just take it off without going to the bathroom. The public restroom is a few minutes away from the beach. Don’t expect too much from this public restroom so save yourself from getting stressed.
By 3:30 we got up and finally headed to our last stop, ULUWATU TEMPLE. Entrance fee comes with a skirt you need to wear to get inside.
DISCLAIMER: Uluwatu is a tourist infested attraction so there might be a lot of people who will photobomb you. Good luck!
Expenses: 30,000 IDR
You should be mindful of the monkeys because they’re always poised to get your stuff eg. sunglasses which our friend has experienced. It was scary!!!
Good thing a woman helped her to get her sunglasses back but she asked for money in return and we were a bit hesitant at first on why the need to pay her.
Our friend eventually did. That was a surprise tho. Never saw that coming.
Time to go back to the city! We’ll be going to explore you more, Uluwatu when we get back.
Can’t resist but to take a photo on this cute wall of photos
