Recently, I came to realize that I do not have a cotton white shirt in my closet. Technically I have a white shirt but not made of cotton (rayon) and is softer and flimsy which sometimes I don’t like to wear.
So on my next mall visit, I decided I should get one. I got this one from H&M. I choose one size bigger because I do not like it when it’s too tight. The good thing about this is that it falls under my budget (hoorah).
A classic item like this has unlimited styling options and I challenged myself in coming up with at least 3 unique ways to wear it. Here we go!
Look 1 – Denim Skirt + Shirt
BELT IT
Styling Tips:
> Buttoning down a shirt in a mismatched manner creates a drama to whole outfit.
> Use a thick velvet belt to give an hour glass shape to an overall loose ensemble since I intentionally left it untucked. The cuffs were left unbuttoned as well. This gives an “undone” look but is still working.
Paired with a gold-chained bag, nude mules, oversized metallic sunglasses, plus an orange-y shade of lipstick, I am you’re good to go
Look 2 – Denim Jeans + Shirt
CLASSIC COMBO WITH A TWIST
Styling Tips:
This probably is the most easiest style. Who can go wrong with this combo, right?
> Tuck the half part of the shirt – I like to do this especially if a shirt is a tad loose. A simple styling hack like this can elevate a simple combo.
> Accessorizing is the key- Wear oversized gold earrings, a cat’s eye sunglasses, and a pointed white mules. Finish the look by wearing red lipstick which adds a “donya” (madame) look.
Look 3 – Denim Shorts + Shirt
CASUAL
Styling Tips:
> Layer it up – If you want to be safe, a faux leather jacket would do but want to be a bit playful, try different colors like millenial pink (Is it still in? LOL) or the genz yellow.
> Pull the unbuttoned cuffs of the shirt to add flair to the whole outfit. You could get away with this in boots, but you can try sneakers instead for a more relaxed vibe.
