A character’s clothing in a series/movie strongly reflects what their personality is.
Every time I begin to watch a show, the first thing I check is the clothes they wear and how they carry themselves. Last year, I watched Netflix’s Dear White People and got instantly glued to my iPhone and laptop for two days. If you are not familiar with the show, here’s a hint: it tackles controversial social issues. Go watch it yourself and get woke.
Props to Ceci, the show’s costume designer who did an amazing job in styling every character. I love Coco and Joelle’s but Samantha White’s styling was just on-point and it definitely stood out for me. Before finishing all the episodes, I was already deciding and planning what outfit to recreate. Here’s the outfit I chose to get inspiration from:

I found out that the costume designer visited thrift shops to get vintage clothes and mixed it with modern pieces to build Sam’s wardrobe. So this is how I did the Samantha White inspired outfit. I added a bit of a twist to make it more Sunnies & Style style:
1. Top and wide-legged jeans from a Thrift shop.
2. Camouflage jacket from Bershka (similar here) which I got for less than 1,000 Php only! STEAL!
3. Yellow-coloured specs from Sunnies Studios and loop earrings from Landmark
