As much as we all love travelling (I know, I do!), we would not be able to enjoy it if our stuff is incomplete or we weren’t able to bring the items we are supposed to. Nothing is more horrifying than finding out you left your make up kit, even so, the essential items you need to have with you. On last two travels this year, I made my own printable travel and packing checklist to make sure I have with me all the things I need all throughout the trip.
This printable travel and packing checklist also helps when you are packing to go home to make sure you do not leave anything behind.
These are the things you NEED to have with you. These are non-negotiables. Some are optional like Padlock and keys (For when you are staying in a hostel etc), International adapter (Extremely important if the hotel you’re staying doesn’t have an international socket etc).
Here goes the makeup kit or your travel make up kit. Some are optional like shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner which are sometimes provided by the hotel or hostel you’re staying but if you are particular in using your own, then the items are listed in here.
TIP: I usually pack sample sizes (If there are available of course especially if you will only bring a carry on with you)
Other than essentials are the must-haves like clothes, undies, towel, accessories etc.
These are gadgets like your laptop (if you need to work) and camera gear. For someone who tends to forget things easily, I have to be specific like Laptop and charger, camera, lens, and charger.
A lot of people tend to forget this when this should also have space in your bag. Medicine such as pills for headaches, allergies, diarrhoea etc are important as well. I, for example, need to bring my anti-histamine with me because of my allergy. First aid kit is also listed here. You can just bring the basic ones; band-aids, cotton buds, etc.
Optional items are in here BUT, you can add more.
I’ve shared this with a few friends and now I am sharing it with you guys! You can print it or if you want to go paperless, save it on your phone.
Do you have a packing list you use? Let me know in the comments section below 🙂
