TRAVEL LIGHT! PACKING TWO SHOES FOR TRAVEL

HOW TO PACK SHOES FOR TRAVEL

Last March, my mom and I went to Hong Kong and had the best time bonding together. I was looking forward to this trip because I was excited to try this pack one, wear one formula by The Belle Voyage.

I am always looking for new ways on how to pack and travel light without sacrificing anything. Ever since reading about this packing tip and wanted to try on my next trip.

We all know that packing shoes take a big chunk of space on our bags or carry-on. Not everyone has a budget to buy extra luggage while some want to travel with a carry-on. So how do you do it? Let these questions help you.

What to consider in choosing the shoes to bring with you

1. What kind of activities are you going to do during the trip?
2. What shoes would go well with your outfits?

The wear one, pack one is very straightforward, you already wear the one and pack the other one in your suitcase.

Here are my tips on packing shoes for travel:

1. You can never go wrong with sneakers – Cmon, they’re the most practical thing to bring because they go well with most outfits (white or black or neutrals) plus they’re comfortable. It would serve you well for those long walks to the must-see places.

2. Wear the bulkiest one to the airport – just like wearing the bulkiest clothes so there no need to pack it in your luggage or carry on, same goes for shoes. I like to wear a jacket every time plus sneakers. It saves a lot of space.

My constant combo for travel is always (depending on the weather):

1.Sneakers and sandals

2.Sneakers and boots (I wore these on my Taiwan trip)

Here are some outfits I wore on our trip to Hong Kong. I don’t have an outfit photo wearing the suede sandals, (because it was raining) but I am sure you can imagine all outfits go great with sandals.

I hope this post was helpful. Have you tried doing this wear one, pack one formula for traveling? Let me know in the comments section below.
