A day at the National museum
My last trip to National museum was way back in elementary. I cannot remember how it looked like and ever since seeing Heneral Luna last year, I knew I had to go and see the famed Spolarium by the national Artist, Juan Luna. I had the opportunity to go with my blogger friend, Yannie a few weeks ago. I was amazed how big it is in real life. I stood there for a few minutes and was imagining how in the hell Luna painted that masterpiece. But yeah, he’s truly one of the greatest artist the country has produced. Aside from checking Luna’s works, two hours was also spent in revisiting the rich history, art and culture of the Philippines through old and contemporary paintings, sculptures and drawings. It’s such a wonderful experience.
