I’ve been to a fashion show, but not on the “backstage” area. We all know how toxic it can be inside just by watching it, but it is more nerve racking and causes anxiety level when it’s your first time. Well, at least for me.
I was thrilled when my classmate and friend, Yannie invited us to participate and assist the team Ryuji Shiomitsu with the Kultura Fashion show. Call time was early, like 10-11 am but the show will start at around 5pm or 6-ish. Early call time means intense preparation. I think you need to bring a closet. closet full of pants, shirts, tops, shoes and shoes and many shoes. (okay Im exaggerating, but no) You got to have a lot of options. I repeat, A LOT. You dont know if the shoe will fit the size of the your models.
Accessories sponsored by Kultura, we were so careful every time we remove the tags, you might be surprised how mush they cost. We laid them out so that we can choose which ones to use and pair with the clothes/ensemble and not.
Styling begins. We need to capture every piece that goes with each outfit. This is vital to avoid mix up.
