This year, I invested in making a self-care routine. One of the things that I included in my daily routine is listening to podcasts. Now, I cannot say I am doing this consistently, but I do make it a point to listen to episodes at least thrice a week.
So why podcasts? For the most part, it’s an alternative to watching feel-good videos or reading inspirational articles.
Podcasts are gaining traction right now aside from videos. I love listening to podcasts whenever I am relaxing; usually when I am resting or before I go to sleep.
Yes, digital creatives like us love to hustle and create amazing things online. More often than not, we forget how to slow down, take a break, and feel inspired and confident about ourselves.
I found the daring romantics on an article from Later, checked the account and found myself checking their podcast. This one is hosted by Lindsey Eryn.
According to the podcast description, It’s a lifestyle + business podcast. I think every digital creative can resonate with her podcast. It’s very inspiring and focuses more on the “heart and soul” of entrepreneurship or building and growing a business.
I love listening to her as she tackles our approach in doing things for our businesses. How we can maximize our creativity, live the life that we want, how to take care of ourselves while chasing our dreams and achieving our goals in life.
Hosted by Alexis Teichmiller this podcast is for biz owners, side hustlers, or newbie biz owner, like me and you. Her podcast is just so relatable especially the title.
She interviews people from the creative and online industry and gets to share their tips and also in the hopes of inspiring online entrepreneurs.
Unfortunately, her podcast has already ended last December 2018 but there are 75 episodes available on iTunes so go listen!
I like Erika and Lindsey’s approach with this podcast. They feature interviews with the leading women in the industry. They tackle a lot of topics from entrepreneurship to personal development and everything in between on how to thrive in modern society.
Shanna is a small business strategist and creative consultant so listening to her is just as perfect for someone who is not only into building their brand or business but being #wildlyintentional at what we do in our lives. I love that hashtag and listening in just a few podcasts was an eye-opener for me.
