Working from home or running online biz from home comes with quite a few struggles. One of those is being and staying productive.
One way to beat this is to create an inspiring and motivating environment that keeps you focused on your day to day tasks and produce fantastic work.
Sure, working on your bed or your kitchen sounds enticing, but it’s not going to help in the long run if you know what I mean. RIIIIGHT??? 😉
For most of us, one factor that hinders from creating a motivating home office is BUDGET. That was also my concern, and I am glad to be proven wrong. You do not have to worry about spending lots of money to build your little nook, and you have to know which pieces you need to invest and worth every cent.
Good thing is, you do not have to spend a lot to create a home office if you’re on a budget. What you can do is to create your own DIY home office that you will love to work every day.
Here are a few tips for a DIY HOME OFFICE ON A BUDGET
1 Pick a theme or color palette
Either you choose your brand’s aesthetic or the colors that you love that will put you in the right mood. I’d go for a clean and minimalist aesthetic. What you need to aim for is to work in an area where you feel at ease and relaxed.

2 Consider the things you need to invest money in:
These are two of the most important things you need to invest in. You have to be comfortable in where you will work, especially the chair you will sit in. The more comfortable you are, the more inspired you’ll be in doing your work.
3 Add a bit of nature or greenery
Aside from improving the look of your area, we all know how having plants help reduce stress, improve focus, and helps purify the air.
Either you put a potted plant on your table or beside or even across the room. If you’re not a plant parent, you may choose one that doesn’t require too much effort, but of course, you have to make time to care for it.
We all have days when we are just having a stressful day. Do you know what might help? Read an uplifting quote. So pick your favorite and display it on your wall.

5 Declutter (Everyday)
Creating a motivating home office sure includes cleaning your space before and after you work. I love working in a clean and tidy environment, and I know you do too. As a tip, only put things you need for your work to help you through your to-do’s for the day.
6 Stay Hydrated
We spend a lot of hours sitting and making amazing things for our biz or clients that we end up forgetting how important it is to stay hydrated. As for me, I’d like to keep a water bottle within easy reach.
