Sharing you some snippets of our Baler Trip two weeks ago. I did the DIY tour and we were happy about how it turned out. Though it’s an overnight stay only, managed to get to see the wonders, Baler has to offer. If you want a day tour, you can rent a tricycle (look for ID to verify if they are Tourism accredited drivers) for 800 Pesos, that’s good for 4 person. We want to maximize our trip so we decided to chop off the Museo de Baler and Aurora Quezon’s house on our list since we are mainly in for some nature tripping.
Here’s our itinerary:
9am breakfast at Rolling Stores
9.30-10.30 am went back to Casitas Bed and Breakfast to check in early and change our clothes.
10.30-12.30 Ermita Hill, Diguisit falls and Aniao Islets (travel from the there to our hotel is approximately 20-30 minutes)
12.30-1.30 pm Lunch at Hungry Surfer
It rained at the time and so we have to wait until we saw the sun come up again.
2.00-5.30 Millennium tree and Ditumabo Falls(Mother Falls)
(travel from Casitas to San Luis is roughly 45 minutes or so, expect a bumpy ride all throughout when you reach the entrance going there) It also rained hard when we reached the falls and honestly, I didn’t enjoy that one. We are soaking wet and have to endure the long travel time to get to our hotel.
5.30-6.00 pm went back to Casitas Bed and Breakfast (also bought some chips and booze later for the night)
7.00-7.30 pm Dinner at Gerry Shan’s (FOOD COMA)
7.30-12mn Booze to end the night
We have to sleep early as we planned to surf early in the morning.
It was indeed a memorable trip! I wish we have stayed longer to be able to visit some nearby towns but that will be saved until the next come back 🙂
Hope you enjoyed looking at the photos!
Till next travel adventure!
