I am into hubadera style lately (not, to be honest for several years now). I've finally come in to terms that it is indeed a part of my aesthetic. I have developed a thing for slits, bare shoulders/back, deep V tops or rompers. Few years back, I had to admit that it's not full blown until early last year, I was able to accept and embrace it.
For someone that's on her late 20's already, I know it's (not) unusual, right? Or maybe it's just one of the perfect reasons to disguise my age through styling and wearing these kind of clothes. haha Occasionally, I still get asked if I'm a student especially when commuting (10% discount, cmon! ;-D)
You have probably seen this romper before on my trip to Cebu last year (here). I immediately fell in love with it mainly because of the deep V feature. Wearing this kind of clothing will usually raise eyebrows or turn heads or even encourage cat call, so how to get away with it? I always sort to my trusted vintage denim jacket which doesn't compromise the whole outfit which I love. Workable, right?
Let me know your thoughts!
